Hello and Welcome back to,
Gossip & Giggles with T!
So summer has finally reached England! I can’t believe how hot it has been, I guess I would be enjoying it more if the humidity wasn’t as high. It’s making my hair look like Monica from the time she went to Barbados!
One thing I do love about this hot weather are the things you can do in it, so here are a few things I like to do when the sun is shinning:
Going to gigs and festivals is 100% one way I like to enjoy this weather! There is nothing better then enjoying the hot weather, listening to some incredible artists and just being apart of the festival atmosphere. Remember to bring your sun cream and stay hydrated, nothing worse then being burnt and getting a migraine at a festival.
Parks and Picnics are also a great way to take in the warm weather. I love going to parks and having picnics because it means you can invite as many people as you want. Doing this is such a sociable thing to do and it doesn’t cost much. It’s perfect for everyone too, because you can do whatever you like there – play football, listen to music, catch up with friends, take photos and sunbathe…
Travelling is also something I really enjoy, not so much being stuck on trains or buses in this heat but the going to places and becoming a tourist for the day. It nice to be able to take in all the lovely buildings and visit the tourist attractions during the nice weather, it also gives you a chance to experience new things.
I am quite a spontaneous and adventurous person, so if you are too this will be perfect for you – one thing I like to do when I am out with my friends in London (You can do this anywhere), is getting a day ticket and getting on a random bus/train and seeing where It takes you. I find this a lot of fun because you don’t know what to expect when you get there. This allows you to go to a place you have never been before and explore the area.
Most of all I like to spend time with family and friends, even if it is just in the garden, having bbq’s! This weather generally puts everyone in a good mood and surrounding yourself with happy people will rub off on you.
Just remember, if you do do anything this summer is to have fun!! Let me know what you’ll be doing whilst the sun is shining!
But, for now that is all!
I hope you’ll stick around until next time!
I hope you enjoyed reading! Catch you next week with another blog,
