Hello and Welcome back to,
Gossip & Giggles with T!
Traditions I think are what make this time of year so special. It gives you something to look forward to and be excited about. I have so many traditions that we do each year, some we have done forever and some that we have only recently started. Today I am going to share with you some of my favourite Christmas Traditions!
Christmas Eve – Family (Party) –
Like I have mentioned before, Christmas Eve every year we have a house full. My brothers and sisters come round and we have a get-together. It’s probably one of my favourite things because it’s always so much fun, full of laughter and happiness. I have so much love for my brothers and sisters, and spending time with all of them at once is such a great feeling. It doesn’t happen often, so I treasure those times when it does.
New one is ‘breakfast before presents’ –
Having breakfast before opening presents is a new tradition, only because we’re all ‘grown up’ now. I love that we do this because it prolongs the day a bit, and with everyone being fed keeps everyone happy. Because I am always up earlier than everyone else I guess it’s the decent way to wake them all up.
Leaving Santa Clause and Rudolph a Mince Pie, Milk and Carrots –
I’ve left them out every year and I will continue to do so. We actually have a personalised specifically for them and I love it!
Waking up between 6am-8am –
Waking up early, before everyone else, is something my Mumma and I have done for as long as I can remember. We would always wake up between 6am – 8am, and it would always be so magical downstairs at that time of the morning with the Christmas lights and presents. We would make a cup of tea and then wait for a good time to wake everyone up. Those few hours are always so peaceful but also filled with so much excitement.
Track Santa –
I find it so much fun tracking Santa and seeing him travel around the world.

My Mumma and I decorate the tree –
Now she allows me to assist her with decorating the tree and the house, it has become a tradition. Every year I get everything out of the loft and we put up the tree and decorate it. It usually takes a few days for us to finish the decorating, but we get it done eventually! My Mumma is quite the perfectionist when it comes to decorating the tree, so she likes to take her time and quite often doesn’t like anyone to help her. Although, she has finally allowed me to decorate the tree with/without her.
What are some of your favourite Christmas Traditions, let me know in the comments below!
