Hello and Welcome to,
Gossip & Giggles with T!
It has been a while since I collected all my favourite things and wrote about them, and with Christmas and my birthday recently passing I got quite a few gifts that I have fallen in love with. So here is a little rundown of all the things I loved during January and February!
A Record Player – I have been wanting a record player for forever, and at Christmas, I finally got one. I am so obsessed with it like you can’t even imagine. I don’t know what it is about it or why, but the music just sounds so much better on vinyl!
Friends Poster – I ordered this poster months ago, but I have only recently got round to buying it a frame and putting the poster in it. When I saw it I couldn’t resist from purchasing it. And, now that I can actually look at the poster it has made me realise just how much of a Friends fanatic I actually am. Every time I read what it says on their, I can always imagine the character saying it in my mind, which makes it even better. Crazy, I know… but trust me, if you love Friends, you’ll love this!
Dancing On Ice – Dancing On Ice has come back into mine, yours, all our lives and life is great again, well… better than last January and February. I am so thrilled to have the show back on our screens, and I can’t get enough of it. You can check out my thoughts on the show here – Dancing On Ice 2018 and Dancing On Ice – Headbanger, Double Elimination and a Surprise Announcement. – Week 7
Guitar – At Christmas, as well as getting a Record Player, I got my very own Guitar. I have been wanting to learn how to play the guitar for years, and now I finally can. I got this gorgeous white guitar, and it sounds so lovely. It’s also very easy to hold, which was one of the things I was worried about. It comes with guitar bag, strap, and extra strings which is extremely handy especially for a beginner.
Typewriter – For my birthday last week, my mumma got me a typewriter and not just one that sits on a shelf that you look at, it’s a fully working Smith Corona Corsair 1969 (I believe) typewriter. It is gorgeous, types well, and smells SO good!
Fleetwood Mac – Rumours & Adele 21 Vinyl’s – Fleetwood Mac Rumours album was the first vinyl I got! I love Fleetwood Mac, and this album in particular because it always reminds me of me, my mumma and my sister and the summertime. It always brings back such happy and lovely memories, so I am so happy that this was my first Vinyl.
Adele 21 was a birthday present, and I can’t even begin to explain how insanely awesome Adele sounds on the record player. I love them both so much!
Links of London charm bracelet – My sister got me this chain bracelet for Christmas, and I haven’t taken it off since. This bracelet is actually a charm bracelet, but the beauty of it is that it looks just as great without the charms, maybe even better. I think the simplicity of a chain bracelet is gorgeous, and sometimes charms can be a bit too much. Don’t get me wrong, I do love myself a charm bracelet, but I think I’ll be keeping this one plain.
White Rose Plant – This was a birthday gift from some of my lovely friends, and I just adore the plant. I have been looking for a plant for my room for some time now, so when I received this I was so happy. The white roses and white plant pot fit in perfectly with the decor of my room. And I love white roses too, so it was just a perfect gift. I just have to try and keep them alive now.
PlayStation 2 – I finally got my PlayStation 2 up and running. That’s right, you did read that correctly, PlayStation 2! I may be stuck in the past when it comes to a games console, but believe you me get yours out and put on Simpsons Hit & Run, you’ll be like PS4 what, huh? I am so addicted to the console and the game and I bet you will be too!
Forever My Sister, Always My Friend plaque – I love this plaque so much, I got both my sister one for Christmas, and was surprised with one for myself for my birthday. It’s so pretty, not only does it go nicely in my room, but the words mean a lot, which is why I love it.
Criminal Minds – I was very sceptical about watching this show. My mumma and brother watch it all the time and would rave on about how good it was, and it was only because I was bored that I thought hey I’ll give it a chance. And, BOY am I glad that I did! This show has me hooked, and if you haven’t seen you it, you HAVE to!
It’s all about a group of FBI profilers who analyse serial murderers and the occasional kidnapper’s behaviour in order to catch them. The show is pretty intense and can be quite gruesome at times, but you’ll fall in love with the characters and everything about their jobs.
That’s all guys, what have you been loving these last few months? Let me know in the comments below!
But for now, that is all.
