April Favourites

Hello and Welcome to,

Gossip & Giggles with T!

April has been one of my favourite months of the year, so far. It’s been such a feel-good month, full of laughter, lots of writing, happiness and a 3-day heatwave, what more could I want? The only flaw to the month was the amount of content I uploaded to my blog. I’ve been so into writing my book at the moment that my blog has sacrificed a lot, but I’ve put together a schedule, and fingers crossed they both get the attention they deserve.
Anyway, here are some of the things I’ve been loving these last 30 days!

April Favourites

Sunday Snacks!

I love this channel so much! The videos are always so entertaining, I don’t think I have come across one that I haven’t liked! You’re guaranteed to have a chuckle along with the host Saby and her guests whilst they do a number of different challenges from Blindfolded Make-Up to Extreme Spicy Noodle challenge! They also have the occasional vlog too! So make sure to go and subscribe to the Sunday Snacks channel so you don’t miss the next video and follow Saby on social media!

Sam Hunt – Take Your Time

Take Your Time is the second single that Sam Hunt released from his debut album back in 2014. I had actually never heard of Sam or his music until he released Body Like a Back Road last year, which is when I discovered his album Montevallo and this song. I am so obsessed with the song, the lyrics are so beautiful and the way he sings it makes what he’s singing about sound so genuine. I’m at the point now where I’ve had the song on loop all day every day, and I don’t think that’ll be changing anytime soon. I’ve left a link to the song and album below, as well as a video of him performing the song live!

iPhone SE

I finally chose to upgrade my phone this month, and it feels so great to do so. I’ve had the same number for about 10 years now and getting a new number and a new phone feels so refreshing. The first thing I told everyone was that ‘It feels like my life has been restarted’. The iPhone itself I think is great, it’s smaller than iPhone 6, but the features on the phone are so much better. If you’re someone who prefers a smaller phone but wanting an iPhone then I highly recommend going for the iPhone SE!

The Greatest Showman

I’m not going to lie I held off watching this movie for a number of reasons – but mainly because I was like super jealous of Zendaya. I mean to sing, dance, and kiss Zac Efron is like every 19-year-old girl’s dream. But I got over that, and finally sat down to watch it and I loved it. It’s such an incredible musical, and it really demonstrates the power of love, dreams and individuality. For those who are yet to see the musical, it’s inspired by P. T. Barnum, who was the man who founded Barnum & Bailey Circus. I found the movie so uplifting and inspiring, and it really gave me that motivation, I was lacking, to go after my dreams. It is 100% worth the watch.

Turkey Dinosaurs

I have a weird addiction to Turkey Dinosaurs and to be honest I don’t know what to do about it. I remember eating them all the time when I was younger, and for the last year or so my mum’s been buying them from Iceland, but this last month I feel like all I’ve done is eat them. I really can’t get enough of them, and it doesn’t help that you can eat them with anything! Rice, Pasta, Potatoes, Chips, Waffles, Salad, on their own. You can purchase them for £2.00 for 1 pack or £3.00 for 2 packs from Iceland!

3 Day’s of Sun, Sun, Sun!

I’ve never really been much of a lover of the sun (I think getting heat stroke a couple of times really put me off it), but there was something about those 3 days of great weather that really changed everything. This last winter has dragged on so much that I was beginning to feel so glum and in a rut. I tried so many ways to get out it but nothing was working, who’d have thought all I needed was a bit of sunshine. It has really re-energised me. It’s made me feel so full of life and happiness and has motivated me so much. It was so lovely to spend the evening’s in the garden listening to music and be outdoors without worrying about whether or not I need an umbrella. Fingers crossed for a hot summer!
