Hello and Welcome to,
Gossip & Giggles with T!
The downside to having sensitive skin is that it is never easy finding products that won’t irritate it. I’ve learnt over time that creams with fragrances/scented is a no go, and surprisingly the cheaper the better!
Now I’ve tried my fair share of creams for both body and skin, and here are some that I have found works wonders.
SIDE NOTE – This is all from my own personal experience with products so these creams may be great for you, or they may not. No one has the exact same skin sensitivity as another! But I hope that if you do try these products they help you like they have helped me! Thank you for reading.
Astral Original Cream –
Now, this is the best cream I have ever come across. I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of a product then I do this one. What I love about this is that it pretty much sorts out any issue I have when it comes to my skin. It helps with stretch marks, scars, dry skin, irritations, everything. The fact that you can use this on your face and your body is even better. For a 200ml pot, you are looking at about £3.50, so it’s also reasonably cheap too!
Skin Perfection: Soothing Gel-Cream wash –
This is the only cream that has ever really helped get rid of acne and clear up the marks they leave and that hasn’t stung when applied or made the situation worse! I’ve never had really bad acne, but when I do get it it’s always very visible and it used to make me very self-conscious. But this product has helped tons in improving both problems, as well as removing other impurities on my face. It is extremely easy to apply, and as long as you’re consistent with applying it you’ll see a big difference.
Vaseline Intensive Care: essential healing –
In the last couple of years I noticed that my upper arms aren’t as smooth as the rest of my skin, but I never really thought anything of it. I just thought I need to scrub them a little lighter. Then the other day I found out that I actually have a skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris, which is pretty common for most people and it basically looks like goosebumps on your skin. Fortunately, it’s nothing serious and in time it will get better, but unfortunately, there’s not much that can be done to speed up the process. The recommended home remedy is exfoliating and moisturising!
This product has worked wonders on my skin already. It’s meant for dry skin, and it say’s it’ll heal dry skin in 3 weeks, but it’s already making my arms feel as smooth as it can with goosebumps!
Men Expert Hydra Energetic: Ice Cool Face Wash –
I know that this is supposed to me for men, but I honestly couldn’t care what the label says. This is the most refreshing face wash ever. It really makes you feel so alive and really wakes up the skin. Girls, I highly recommend this product.
Honeysuckle Moisturising: Hand and Body Lotion –
I usually stick to not using scented products, but I’ve been using this for about a year and a half now, and it’s not irritated my skin once! I was so shocked when I didn’t come out in a rash or get all itchy, but also so happy. I love love love the smell of Honeysuckle and it’s so nice to be smelling of something other than my perfume and deodorant. This hand and body lotion is used to nourish your skin, leaving it smelling beautiful, soft and smooth, and boy does it do that!
Imperial Leather: Soothing Camomile & Bamboo Milk –
Lastly, this bath cream is pretty much the only bath product I can use. Cheap and Cheerful is what comes to mind every time I think of it. I often wish I could splurge on something else, but honestly, I don’t like to risk ruining my bath time with feeling uncomfortable. What I love about this product is that it smells really great though, and I can often get it other scents, as long as it is suitable for all skin types. But the Camomile and Bamboo Milk is my favourite!
There you have it, my favourite products suitable for sensitive skin! If you know of any good products that you think will help me or that you think I’d like please let me know either in the comments, on my social media (links at the bottom of post) or head over to my Contact page and leave me an email! I will be reviewing all future products I get in the future, so make sure you keep an eye out for that!
That’s all for now!
